Odot Series

This series arose from a casual exploration that delivered a pleasant surprise. A simple variation on the Dotgrid concept – growing the dots to make them overlap in translucent layers – opened up a whole new space of beautiful and evocative patterns to explore.

Odot patterns have just the right mix of regularity and subtle, gradual changes across the surface to make them appealing and intriguing to examine more closely, especially at large scales.
